City & Guilds

In October 2012 I started my City & Guilds adventure, in May 2015 all the work for the Certificate course was finished. The course included a lot of - very varied - work: Art and Design, Sewing Techniques (loads!), and five Items. The items were a cushion, a bag, a wall hanging, a box and a bed quilt. Each had to be started from a brief, designed, sampled, and made. The items have to show skills acquired; at least one has to show mainly quilting, one appliqué, and one piecing.
